Replacement Bench Slats
We are BenchSlatsUK, a small team based in Leicester providing replacement Hardwood Bench Slats.
What size are the Replacement Bench Slats?
Our replacement Bench Slats come in 2 standard widths, these are: 50mm and 35mm.
There are multiple lengths available. We make our hardwood slats to suit all cast iron benches and tables.
These Lengths are:
- 610mm (2ft) – 1 Seater
- 1220mm (4ft) – 2 Seater
- 1525mm (5ft) – Table
Will your bench slats fit my bench?
The standard bench slat sizes’ fit most items. But if you have read the description and are still unsure on which selection you require. Please email us a photo and we would be happy to help.
Do the slats come treated?
The Hardwood Bench Slats are all Solid Oak and Sapele. The slats are supplied untreated.
We recommend the use of Osmo Oil Exterior UV Protection. It gives a really nice natural finish.
How long will my order take to arrive?
The dispatch time for our slats is 5–10 working days for all orders.
Delivery is by Parcelforce 48 hrs.
Can I collect from you?
Yes, by prior arrangement you can collect your bench slats. We are based in Leicestershire. Please email us to arrange a suitable time and we will provide further details. Alternatively, click here to contact us.
Can I pay over the phone?
Yes we do accept payments over the phone, we will require an email address to send your receipt to.

If you aren’t sure what type of kit you need to refurbish your cast iron bench. The best thing to do is to email us a photo of your existing item and we will advise you. Alternatively, click here to contact us.
What kind of wood is used for bench slats?
BenchSlatsUK solid hardwood bench slats are machined in our workshop out of Kiln Dried Oak and Sapele. They are available in a variety of widths and lengths. They are perfect for replacing damaged or rotten slats on your garden benches.
Is our wood sustainably sourced?
All of our Hardwood is provided by Approved suppliers. This means the wood comes from Certified Forests. This is a natural, renewable solution for global environmental problems.
